Upper Jurassic–Lower Cretaceous Source Rocks in the North of Western Siberia: Comprehensive Geochemical Characterization and Reconstruction of Paleo-Sedimentation Conditions

open access: yesGeosciences, 2021
The present work is devoted to geochemical studies of the Bazhenov Formation in the north of the West Siberian Petroleum Basin. The object is the Upper Jurassic–Lower Cretaceous section, characterized by significant variations in total organic carbon ...

A Comparison of the Geochemical and Stable Carbon Isotopic Characteristics of Extracts Obtained from Source Rocks Using Different Solvents

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
The choice of the solvent to use in the Soxhlet extraction process dramatically affects the extraction yield. In this work, ten hydrocarbon source rocks were extracted using different solvents, and the chemical compositions of their products were ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Kemungkinan keterdapatan hidrokarbon di Cekungan Bengkulu

open access: yesIndonesian Journal on Geoscience, 2014
http://dx.doi.org/10.17014/ijog.vol2no3.20071The Bengkulu Basin is known as a typical fore-arc basin, situated in the southwest of Sumatera Island. The basin was occupied by the Eo-Oligocene equivalent Lahat Formation that is unconformably overlain by ...

Palynofacies Analysis and Hydrocarbon Generation Potential of the Tithonian-Beriassian Chia Gara Formation from Selected Wells in Ajil, Hamrin, and Tikrit Oilfields, Northern Iraq [PDF]

open access: yesKirkuk Journal of Science, 2018
The recovered sedimentary organic matter from the Tithonian-Berriasian Chia Gara Formation was studied from three selected wells of Ajil-12 (Aj-12), Hamrin-1 (Hr-1), and Tikrit-3 (Tk-3) in Northern Iraq.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.
