ABSTRACT Omega‐3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are imperative for general biological functions and may be involved in the prevention and treatment of various diseases. Despite the benefits, US consumption of fish, and consequently EPA and DHA, is below recommended levels.

Optimized hot‐pressing conditions (200°C, 10 MPa, 25 min) were identified using a DOE approach. Two TPU layers (29.9 wt%) achieved the best interlaminar adhesion, yielding a 67% increase in T‐peel strength. Dynamic mechanical analysis revealed lower activation energy at optimal composition, indicating improved fiber‐matrix interaction.
