Rumen Epithelial Transcriptome Analysis Revealed the Regulatory Mechanism of Host Adaptation to Nitrogen Source Replacement Diet in Simmental Cattle

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 10, October 2025.
The findings of this study suggest that urea replacement of some soybean meal feeding activates compensatory mechanisms in the rumen epithelium to maintain homeostasis of the organism through dynamic changes in intercellular junctions and adaptive up‐regulation of metabolic pathways.
