Sensitive Period Analysis of Adulthood BMI and Cancer Risk: An Individual Participant Data Meta‐Analysis of Over 720,000 Participants in the ABACus 2 Consortium

Over a dozen cancers have been associated with excess body mass index, primarily in mid‐to‐late adulthood. Whether obesity‐related cancer risk differs across adulthood remains unclear. Using the Sensitive Periods Model and super‐landmarking approaches, this study found that higher BMI increased obesity‐related cancer risk across ages 30–65.

Integrative host–microbiome modeling uncovers the implication of oral–gut translocation in advanced cirrhosis

Liver cirrhosis is associated with profound disruption of host–microbiome metabolic interactions. Using paired oral and fecal metagenomics combined with genome‐scale metabolic modeling, we investigated how microbial translocation along the oral–gut axis influences microbial metabolism at different cirrhosis severities.

Validation of a Multiparametric, Automated, Macroarray‐Based Assay for the Detection of Autoantibodies in Autoimmune Liver Disease

The assay exploited a multiparametric and fully automated device applied to CHORUS EVO to validate that the CHORUS Macroarray Liver Diseases kit is a novel procedure for detecting autoantibodies of AIH and PBC. The assay resulted as linear, accurate, sensitive, specific, and able to distinguish between PBC and AIH.
