Nonstationary Clutter Suppression Based on Four Dimensional Clutter Spectrum for Airborne Radar With Conformal Array

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Conformal array antenna is one of the important development directions of airborne radar in the future. Its advantages include aerodynamic design, larger effective aperture and minimal payload weight etc.

Clutter rejection for MTI radar using a single antenna and a long integration time [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Moving Target Indicators (MTI) are airborne radar systems designed to detect and track moving vehicles or aircrafts. In this paper, we address the problem of detecting hazardous collision targets to avoid them.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Moving-boundary problems solved by adaptive radial basis functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The objective of this paper is to present an alternative approach to the conventional level set methods for solving two-dimensional moving-boundary problems known as the passive transport. Moving boundaries are associated with time-dependent problems and

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

A Novel Sparse Bayesian Space-Time Adaptive Processing Algorithm to Mitigate Off-Grid Effects

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Space-time adaptive processing (STAP) algorithms based on sparse recovery (SR) have been researched because of their low requirement of training snapshots.

Generalized robust shrinkage estimator and its application to STAP detection problem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Recently, in the context of covariance matrix estimation, in order to improve as well as to regularize the performance of the Tyler's estimator [1] also called the Fixed-Point Estimator (FPE) [2], a "shrinkage" fixed-point estimator has been introduced ...

The neural crest‐associated gene ERRFI1 is involved in melanoma progression and resistance toward targeted therapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

An SDR-Based Real-Time Testbed for GNSS Adaptive Array Anti-Jamming Algorithms Accelerated by GPU

open access: yesSensors, 2016
Nowadays, software-defined radio (SDR) has become a common approach to evaluate new algorithms. However, in the field of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) adaptive array anti-jamming, previous work has been limited due to the high computational ...

Random Matrix Theory-Based Reduced-Dimension Space-Time Adaptive Processing under Finite Training Samples

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Space-time adaptive processing (STAP) is a fundamental topic in airborne radar applications due to its clutter suppression ability. Reduced-dimension (RD)-STAP can release the requirement of the number of training samples and reduce the computational ...
