Abstract Space and Modern Architecture: Adana and Ankara Power Plants

open access: yes, 2020
276iconarch:S5According to Lefebvre's statement that “Space is a social product”, production relations have an important role in space production. The transition from one production method to another is highly significant; because, this is the effect on ...

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Space is the machine: a configurational theory of architecture

open access: yes, 2007
Since The social logic of space was published in 1984, Bill Hillier and his colleagues at University College London have been conducting research on how space features in the form and functioning of buildings and cities. A key outcome is the concept of â€

Space is the machine, part one: theoretical preliminaries

open access: yes, 2007
‘Theoretical Preliminaries’ deals with the most basic of all questions which architectural theory tries to answer: what is architecture, and what are theories, that they can be needed in architecture?

Synthetic Space (and the Architecture of Play)

open access: yes, 2020
This thesis is about the kinetic relationship between body and space. It attempts to read the world as a continuous experience rooted in bodily sensation and investigates relationships between human bodies in the conception, making, and experience of ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.
