Real-Time Spatial Queries for Moving Objects Using Storm Topology

open access: yesISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, 2016
With the rapid development of mobile data acquisition technology, the volume of available spatial data is growing at an increasingly fast pace. The real-time processing of big spatial data has become a research frontier in the field of Geographic ...

CONTINUOUS MULTIQUERIES K-DOMINANT SKYLINE ON ROAD NETWORK

open access: yesJUTI: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknologi Informasi, 2020
The increasing use of mobile devices makes spatial data worthy of consideration. To get maximum results, users often look for the best from a collection of objects. Among the algorithms that can be used is the skyline query.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Development and evaluation of a geographic information retrieval system using fine grained toponyms

open access: yesJournal of Spatial Information Science, 2015
Geographic information retrieval (GIR) is concerned with returning information in response to an information need, typically expressed in terms of a thematic and spatial component linked by a spatial relationship.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

EVALUATING SPATIAL QUERIES OVER DECLUSTERED SPATIAL DATA [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Due to the large volumes of spatial data, data is stored on clusters of machines that inter-communicate to achieve a task. In such distributed environment; communicating intermediate results among computing nodes dominates execution time. Communication

Astrocyte heterogeneity in brain metastases

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Astrocytes emerge as pivotal regulators of metastatic colonization, survival, immune remodeling, and therapy response associated with an increasing heterogeneity that requires spatially and longitudinally resolved approaches to uncover regulatory programs and guide context‐specific therapies.
