Spatial Perception of Highly Skilled and Poorly Skilled Females
Perceptual and Motor Skills, 197130 Ss were classified as highly skilled in a variety of motor activities and 30 Ss as poorly skilled. The 2 groups were administered the Rod-and-frame test, taken in a standing position and requiring nine different position settings of the rod and frame. The highly skilled performers were significantly more field independent than the poorly skilled Ss.
