Patient‐Level Barriers and Facilitators to Inpatient Physical Therapy in Adolescents and Young Adults With a Hematological Malignancy: A Qualitative Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Despite their increased risk for functional impairment resulting from cancer and its treatments, few adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with a hematological malignancy receive the recommended or therapeutic dose of exercise per week during inpatient hospitalizations.

Palaeogeography, palaeohydraulics and palaeoclimate of the Mio–Pliocene Siwalik Group, eastern India

open access: yesJournal of Palaeogeography, 2014
South–southwestward palaeocurrent swerved to east–southeast and then broadly to southeast over the transition from alluvial fan to axial channel and then to the flood plain in the Mio–Pliocene foreland system within which the Siwalik Group depositd in ...

Study on Spatial and Temporal Variations of Groundwater Level in Garmsar Plain [PDF]

open access: yesمدیریت بیابان, 2014
Water resources management especially for groundwater resources is a very important task in arid and semi-arid regions. Over last decades, because of various natural and anthropogenic factors, critical condition and declined groundwater level have been ...

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Modelling spatial variations of the speed of light

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper we extend a new method to measure possible variation of the speed of light by using Baryon Acoustic Oscillations and the Hubble function presented in our earlier paper [V. Salzano, M. P. D\c{a}browski, and R. Lazkoz, Phys. Rev. D93, 063521 (

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

Spatial variation in early patterns of algal recruitment in a tropical intertidal community [PDF]

open access: yesSongklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST), 2019
Spatial variation in the patterns of early algal recruitment in a tropical intertidal shore was tested among different degrees of wave exposure and shore elevation levels. Algal recruitment showed a simple pattern.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
