On orthogonal polynomials related to arithmetic and harmonic sequences

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper we study special systems of orthogonal polynomials on the unit circle. More precisely, with a view to the recurrence relations fulfilled by these orthogonal systems, we analyze a link of non-negative arithmetic to harmonic sequences as a ...

Generalized Horadam-Leonardo Numbers and Polynomials

open access: yes, 2023
In this study, we define and investigate some linear third order polynomials called the generalized Horadam-Leonardo polynomials (with its two special cases, namely), (r, s)-Horadam-Leonardo and (r, s)-Horadam-Leonardo-Lucas polynomials.

Multiplex Modular Nanorobotic Systems with Catalytic Activity under Magnetic Navigation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present modular nanorobots composed of a magnetic propulsion module and different extension modules carrying functional activities, assembled via DNA base pairing. The system integrates propulsion, optical tracking, enzymatic catalysis, and cell docking in a programmable manner.

SPECIAL VALUES OF THE BELL POLYNOMIALS OF THE SECOND KIND FOR SOME SEQUENCES AND FUNCTIONS: Special values of Bell polynomials of second kind [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In the paper, the authors concisely review some closed formulas and applications of special values of the Bell polynomials of the second kind for some special sequences and elementary functions, explicitly present closed formulas for those sequences ...

Resistance to Overdoping Allows Over 2000 S cm−1 Conductivity in P(g3BTTT) With Anion‐Exchange Doping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.

Relating certain coefficients of special hyperholomorphic polynomials with a Horadam sequence

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings
Hyperholomorphic polynomials are generalizations of holomorphic polynomials to higher dimensions in the framework of hypercomplex function theory. We consider a special sequence of hyperholomorphic polynomials whose coefficients can be arranged as triangular arrays of the Pascal type.

AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.

On Type 2 Degenerate Poly-Frobenius-Euler Polynomials

open access: yesRecoletos Multidisciplinary Research Journal
Background: This paper introduces a class of special polynomials called Type 2 degenerate poly-Frobenius-Euler polynomials, defined using the polyexponential function. Motivated by the expanding theory of degenerate versions of classical polynomials, the

Symmetric third-order recurring sequences, Chebyshev polynomials, and Riordan arrays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We study a family of symmetric third-order recurring sequences with the aid of Riordan arrays and Chebyshev polynomials. Formulas involving both Chebyshev polynomials and Fibonacci numbers are established.
