Permutation polynomials and factorization
We discuss a special class of permutation polynomials over finite fields focusing on some recent work on their factorization. In particular we obtain permutation polynomials with various factorization patterns that are favoured for applications.

Simplified quantum sensing technique for the detection of short electrical signals occurring in neuronal signaling or bioinspired technologies. We demonstrate a single frequency continuous‐wave optically detected magnetic resonance (CW‐ODMR) approach to sense signals that can be as short as 0.2 ms.

Jacobi polynomials and generalized Clifford algebra-valued Appell sequences
: Appell sequences in Clifford analysis are defined as polynomial families on which the Heisenberg algebra acts through a raising and a lowering operator satisfying the canonical Heisenberg relation. Recently, these sequences have gained new interest, as

Milled polycrystalline NMC811 cathode (MPC NMC) with smaller secondary particle and higher surface area had 1) greater cathode tortuosity, 2) reduced surface Ni on the cycled MPC cathodes consistent with surface reconstruction, and 3) increased Ni deposition from cathode‐anode crosstalk, manifesting in lower functional capacity and higher impedance ...

Algebraic properties of some special quaternion sequences and polynomials

Laguerre polynomials in several hypercomplex variables and their matrix representation [PDF]
Recently the creation matrix, intimately related to the Pascal matrix and its generalizations, has been used to develop matrix representations of special polynomials, in particular Appell polynomials.

Identities of Degenerate Poly-Changhee Polynomials Arising from λ-Sheffer Sequences
In the 1970s, Gian-Carlo Rota constructed the umbral calculus for investigating the properties of special functions, and by Kim-Kim, umbral calculus is generalized called λ-umbral calculus.

This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

Compliant Pneumatic Feet with Real‐Time Stiffness Adaptation for Humanoid Locomotion
A compliant pneumatic foot with real‐time variable stiffness enables humanoid robots to adapt to changing terrains. Using onboard vision and pressure control, the foot modulates stiffness within each gait cycle, reducing impact forces and improving balance. The design, cast in soft silicone with embedded air chambers and Kevlar wrapping, offers durable,
