This study explores how information processing is distributed between brains and bodies through a codesign approach. Using the “backpropagation through soft body” framework, brain–body coupling agents are developed and analyzed across several tasks in which output is generated through the agents’ physical dynamics.

3D‐Printing Aided Rapid Prototyping of Pretensioned Tensegrity Structures for Robotic Applications
Printing, injection molding, and assembly (PMA) is a method for rapid prototyping mesoscale, topologically complex, and tensioned tensegrity structures. In combination with PMA method, two mold design strategies: modular mold and compact channel layout, enable efficiency and scalability for tensegrity fabrication.

Regular sequences of power sums and complete symmetric polynomials
In this article, we carry out the investigation for regular sequences of symmetric polynomials in the polynomial ring in three and four variable. Any two power sum element in C[x_1, x_2, . . .

This paper presents a study that builds upon existing research by generating novel results by applying the monomiality principle. The primary focus of this work is the construction and analysis of Tangent-based Appell polynomials, with a detailed exploration of their properties, including their explicit and determinant forms, as well as their ...

Dissecting the Ecological Structure of Health and Disease in the Global Gut Microbiome
We introduce Wiredancer, a framework that identifies three continuous ecological factors of the gut microbiota. These factors exhibit distinct patterns across health and disease, jointly capturing disrupted ecological stability and offering a new perspective for precision diagnostics and therapeutic strategies.

Going Next after “A Guide to Special Functions in Fractional Calculus”: A Discussion Survey
In the survey Kiryakova: “A Guide to Special Functions in Fractional Calculus” (published in this same journal in 2021) we proposed an overview of this huge class of special functions, including the Fox H-functions, the Fox–Wright generalized ...

Physical Origin of Temperature Induced Activation Energy Switching in Electrically Conductive Cement
The temperature‐induced Arrhenius activation energy switching phenomenon of electrical conduction in electrically conductive cement originates from structural degradation within the biphasic ionic‐electronic conduction architecture and shows percolation‐governed characteristics: pore network opening dominates the low‐percolation regime with downward ...
