Specific Impulse and Absolute Chemical Hardness [PDF]
The present work is dedicated to show that there are relationships between the absolute chemical hardness (η) of monopropellants and their specific impulse (I s ). A total of sixteen monopropellants have been modelled and the absolute hardness obtained by quantum chemical calculations.

Interferometric method for specific impulse determination [PDF]
One of the main figures of merit in laser-ablative propulsion is the specific impulse, Isp, defined as the impulse per unit weight of fuel, and it is related to the exhaust velocity, ve, by the acceleration of gravity, Isp = ve / g. Being a key magnitude, Isp needs to be accurately determined. It is usually inferred from other measurable quantities:

Rapid Estimation of Specific Impulse
Specific impulse (Isp) is one of the important criteria for propellant characterisation. In the present paper a semiempirical approach has been suggested to calculate Isp of composite modified doublebase(CMDB) propellant formulations by utilizing calorimetric value(Cal-Val) of the propellant composition.

Context Specificity in Stability of Hyperactivity–Impulsivity [PDF]
This paper exemplifies a secondary data analysis of context–specific differences in children's hyperactivity–impulsivity while controlling for informant–specific effects. Participants were boys and girls from the NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development whose behaviours were measured in 1st, 3rd and 5th grades.

The energy potential of some high-enthalpy N-oxides as oxidizers [PDF]
The energy abilities of solid composite propellants based on a couple of new high-enthalpy N-oxides (furazano-terazine-dioxide and tetrazino-tetrazine-1,3,6,8-tetraoxide) have been considered, it is found that these two compounds show record energy ...

Using the Impulse Method to Determine High-Pressure Dynamic Burning Rate of Solid Propellants
A new method for determining the burning rate of a solid propellant, called the Impulse Method, is proposed in this paper. It is based on the proportional relationship between the impulse generated and the mass of the burned propellant. The pressure–time
