Comparative Analysis of Liquid Rocket Engines and Solid Rocket Engines based on Specific-Impulse
This research paper explores the distinction between solid rocket engines and liquid rocket engines, with a focus on their specific impulse. Extensive research was conducted on various rockets, and the data collected was analyzed and presented in this ...

Macroeconomic effects of reallocation shocks: a generalised impulse response function analysis for three European countries [PDF]
We develop a generalised impulse response function (GIRF) approach to explore the different impacts of aggregate and sectoral shocks within a VAR-GARCH-M model.

Control of Myelination by Specific Patterns of Neural Impulses [PDF]
A cell culture preparation equipped with stimulating electrodes was used to investigate whether action potential activity can influence myelination of mouse dorsal root ganglia axons by Schwann cells. Myelination was reduced to one-third of normal by low-frequency impulse activity (0.1 Hz), but higher-frequency stimulation (1 Hz) had no effect.

Modelling Rocket System Performance Parameters
What distinguishes the rocket system from airbreathing engines is that the rocket carries its own propellants, fuel and oxidants. The modern rocket was originally developed for ballistic missiles.

Liquid rocket engine performance assessment in the context of small launcher optimisation [PDF]
The paper presents a fast mathematical model that can be used to quickly asses the propulsive characteristics of liquid propelled rocket engines. The main propulsive parameters are computed using combustion surfaces obtained after a nonlinear data ...

Domain‐specific impulsivity in school‐age children [PDF]
AbstractImpulsivity is a salient individual difference in children with well‐established predictive validity for life outcomes. The current investigation proposes that impulsive behaviors vary systematically by domain. In a series of studies with ethnically and socioeconomically diverse samples of middle school students, we find that schoolwork‐related

Reference values of impulse oscillometric lung function indices in adults of advanced age. [PDF]
Impulse oscillometry (IOS) is a non-demanding lung function test. Its diagnostic use may be particularly useful in patients of advanced age with physical or mental limitations unable to perform spirometry.
