Abstract Background Autoradiography provides microscale mapping of radionuclide distributions, offering a promising approach to complement nuclear medicine imaging for small‐scale radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT) research. However, while quantitative protocols for α‐emitters are well‐established, comparable methods for β‐emitters, such as the widely ...

23Na‐MRI at 3 T was applied to estimate TSC in patients with kidney tumours of different pathologies, which are indistinguishable on conventional imaging methods. The apparent TSC was significantly higher in renal oncocytomas (benign) compared to chromophobe renal cell carcinomas (malignant): 162 ± 58 mM vs. 71 ± 2 mM (p < 0.05).

ABSTRACT Background Cognitive impairment is common in bipolar disorder (BD), but the underlying pathophysiology remains unclear. This systematic review aimed to (1) summarize all literature describing relationships of biofluid biomarkers and cognition in BD and (2) identify which biofluid biomarkers correlate most consistently with cognition in BD ...

Background and Purpose Adenosine as a signalling molecule modifies blood–brain barrier (BBB) tightness in pathological conditions. Our aim was to investigate the direct and polarized effects of adenosine on the BBB using co‐culture and in vivo models. Experimental Approach The expression of adenosine receptors was measured by qRT‐PCR.

ABSTRACT ST‐segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) remains a major cause of cardiovascular mortality and morbidity worldwide. Despite advances in reperfusion therapy, many patients still develop irreversible myocardial injury and adverse ventricular remodeling. Intracoronary mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) administration has been investigated as a
