This involves the cross-linking of diacetylene groups after ultraviolet irradiation. For the study of model biomembranes, pure phospholipids (phosphatidylcholines) have been synthesized containing diacetylene groups in each acyl chain.

Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1986The present study compared spectral characteristics of the test phonemes of Subtest 13 of Auditory-Visual Abilities Test produced at a normal rate and a 50% time-compression. Results showed marked damping of high frequency energy above 3000 Hz, a by-product of the instrumentation.

Spectral characteristics of aging postural control

Subjects were young adults and elderly who live independently and had no difficulty performing tasks of daily living.
