Economic impact of spectral body imaging in diagnosis of patients suspected for occult cancer
Background Based on prior studies spectral CT has shown a higher sensitivity for malignant lesions than conventional CT at the cost of lower specificity. For the radiologists, it also offers a higher degree of certainty in the diagnosis of benign lesions.

Application of spectral CT in coil embolization treatment of bronchial artery aneurysm: A case report [PDF]
We report a case of a bronchial artery aneurysm accompanied by a bronchial artery to pulmonary artery fistula in which only coil embolization was performed. Post-embolization, the majority of patients face significant metal artifacts from stents or coils

Opportunities for new CT contrast agents to maximize the diagnostic potential of emerging spectral CT technologies [PDF]
The introduction of spectral CT imaging in the form of fast clinical dual-energy CT enabled contrast material to be differentiated from other radiodense materials, improved lesion detection in contrast-enhanced scans, and changed the way that existing ...

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...
