Spectral Computed Tomography for the Diagnosis of Secondary Skeletal Muscle Follicular Lymphoma: A Case Analysis

open access: yesCT Lilun yu yingyong yanjiu
Follicular lymphoma (FL) is one of the frequent varieties of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Secondary skeletal muscle FL is an uncommon extra-nodal lymphoma that is more challenging to identify. Spectral CT imaging can aid in the diagnosis of it.

Evaluation of an Analytic Reconstruction Method as a Platform for Spectral Cone-Beam CT

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
With the fast development of photon counting detection techniques, spectral computed tomography (CT) with a photon counting detector has attracted considerable attention by increasing energy resolution to identify and discriminate materials.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Spectral CT in the Demonstration of the Pancreatic Arteries and Their Branches

open access: yesMedicine, 2016
The aim of this study was to investigate the performance of monochromatic images of spectral computed tomographic (CT) in the visualization of the pancreatic arteries compared with polychromatic CT images. We conducted a case-control study in a group of 26 consecutive patients with monochromatic CT and contrasted the results against a control group of ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Image Denoising and Ring Artifacts Removal for Spectral CT via Deep Neural Network

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The spectral computed tomography (CT) based on photon counting detectors can collect the incident photons with different energy ranges. However, due to the low photon counts in narrow energy bin and the unhomogeneous response problem of detector cells ...

MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Focal cystic high-attenuation lesions: characterization in renal phantom by using photon-counting spectral CT--improved differentiation of lesion composition

open access: yes, 2010
To evaluate the capability of spectral computed tomography (CT) to improve the characterization of cystic high-attenuation lesions in a renal phantom and to test the hypothesis that spectral CT will improve the differentiation of cystic renal lesions ...

ProMeSCT: A Proximal Metric Algorithm for Spectral CT

open access: yes, 2021
International audienceThe acquisition of a set of spectral photon-counting computed tomography (spectral PC-CT) measurements aims at uncovering both the spatial and energetic characteristics of the imaged body, which widens the potential of tomography ...
