Reduced Wolf-Rayet Line Luminosities at Low Metallicity
New NTT/EMMI spectrophotometry of single WN2-5 stars in the Magellanic Clouds are presented, from which HeII 4686 line luminosities have been derived, and compared with observations of other Magellanic Cloud WR stars.

Determination of Lead in Blood by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry [PDF]
Lead in blood was determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, using a wet ashing procedure and a procedure in which the proteins were precipitated with trichloroacetic acid. In both methods the lead was extracted into isobutylmethylketone before measurement, using ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate as chelator.

Fluorescent Nanosensor for Indole‐3‐Propionic Acid Detection in Gut Health Monitoring
This work introduces a fluorescent nanosensor system with two optical modalities for detection of indole‐3‐propionic acid (IPA) gut metabolite: (1) blue‐emitting cationic conjugated polyelectrolyte (CP3) and (2) near‐infrared (NIR)‐emitting CP3‐wrapped single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWNT).

Automated Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry
Abstract The flow system developed for the determination of serum calcium by automated atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) was adapted to the determination of serum magnesium. A comparison of the results of analyses by the present procedure and by an automated fluorometric procedure on identical serum specimens shows excellent ...

Métaux en traces et pollution de la côte belge et de l'estuaire de l'Escaut [PDF]
Different metals (Cr, Cu, Fe, Zn, Pb and Ni) were dosed by spectrophotometry of atomic absorption in the North Sea waters and the Scheldt estuary. For some amongst them, a comparison is made between the dosage by spectrophotometry atomic absorption and ...

A nano‐interception strategy disrupts pathogenic fibroblast–macrophage crosstalk in chronic heart failure. Scalable Prussian blue nanoparticles selectively sequester CCL2 via ultrahigh‐affinity binding, preventing CCR2+ macrophage recruitment and breaking a key fibro‐inflammatory circuit. This approach demonstrates robust efficacy in murine and porcine

Targeting the PDK1/c‐Myc/SOX10 Signaling in Oligodendrocytes Alleviates Neuropathic Pain
This work reveals that oligodendrocyte homeostasis, mediated by PDK1, is a critical determinant of neuropathic pain (NPP) pathogenesis. Disruption of PDK1 in oligodendrocytes impairs SOX10‐dependent myelination programs through c‐Myc accumulation, leading to disrupted myelination and the pathophysiology of NPP.
