The HILA nanoplatform integrates HMnO2, LOX, and ICG to orchestrate multimodal therapy (starvation, chemodynamic, photodynamic, and photothermal) for achieving efficient colon cancer eradication. The established HMnO2‐LOX catalytic cycle continuously consumes lactate, acidifys microenvironment, relieves hypoxia, and generats reactive oxygen species ...

DETERMINATION OF NI(II) IN ALLOYS USING A NEW REAGENT DERIVED FROM L-DOPA
A simple and sensitive UV-Vis spectrophotometric method was developed using a new chromogenic reagent, L-dopasemiquinone, for the quantification of Ni(II) in metallic alloys: Inox, Co-Cr, and Ni-Ti.

A novel epitranscriptomic mechanism in rheumatoid arthritis is uncovered: NSUN2 promotes disease via m5C‐dependent stabilization of ICMT mRNA, fueling the migration and invasion of pathogenic RA FLS. Targeting this axis with engineered nanoparticles (Ce/SAA NPs) effectively inhibits disease progression, presenting a precise therapeutic strategy ...

An orally administered prebiotic polysaccharide hydrogel (predaGel) based on inulin and alginate‐dopamine is stable in the stomach, adheres to the intestine, and degrades slowly in the colon. It enables site‐specific delivery of anti‐TNF‐α and anti‐IL‐12/23 antibodies, scavenges reactive oxygen species, and remodels gut microbiota, offering effective ...

The anti-corrosion behaviour of Satureja montana L. extract on iron in NaCl solution
The effect of Satureja montana L. extract (SM) and phenolic fraction of Satureja montana L. (PF) on the corrosion behaviour of iron in 0.1 mol L-1 sodium chloride solution was studied by electrochemical techniques, UV/Vis spectrophotometry and atomic ...

Effect of re-casting on release of elements from one base metal alloy
Introduction: Toxicity of dental alloys depends on their composition and element release, which may, in turn, be affected by re-casting of the alloy. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of re-casting on the release of elements from Verabond ...
