COMPOSITION AND MICROSTRUCTURE OF STAGHORN URINARY STONES. THEORIES OF GROWTH
For the first time the composition and microstructure of large (more than 2 cm) urinary stones, including staghorn stones, were studied according to their volume by a set of techniques (X-ray, X-ray microanalysis, scanning electron microscopy, infrared ...

Ag/AgCl nanoparticles were biosynthesized using argan‐derived saponins and characterized by UV–Vis, FTIR, XRD, SEM/EDS, and TEM, confirming spherical structures averaging 12.3 ± 7.6 nm. The nanomaterials displayed a characteristic surface plasmon resonance at 400–450 nm and crystalline Ag/AgCl phases. Antibacterial performance against Gram‐positive and

This study elaborates on the structure‐function role of (bio)polymer supports on the catalytic activity of polyaniline‐chitosan nanocomposites (NCs) that contain Ag nanoparticles (Ag@PNI‐(x)‐CHT). These NCs can be tailored to enhance selectivity in reductive transformations of model dyes: methylene blue (MB) and p‐nitrophenol (PNP).

Quantum dots (QDs) typically refer to extremely small semiconductor particles, often no larger than 10 nm. The development of efficient biosensors for the sensitive and selective detection of biomolecules is essential for fundamental research in analytical chemistry, biomedicine, clinical diagnosis, and electrophysiology.
