Spectroscopic determination of the internal amplitude of frequency sweeping TAE
Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion, 2004From an understanding of the processes that cause a marginally unstable eigenmode of the system to sweep in frequency, it is shown how the absolute peak amplitude of the mode can be determined from the spectroscopic measurements of the frequency sweeping rate, e.g. with Mirnov coils outside the plasma.

Calculation of spectroscopic amplitudes using boson expansion wave functions [PDF]
Abstract A formalism is derived which allows the evaluation of spectroscopic amplitudes for two-nucleon transfer reactions. The transfer is assumed to take place between low-lying collective states described by boson expansion wave functions. Numerical calculations have been performed for (t, p) reactions on148, 150, 152Sm.

Spectroscopic amplitudes and microscopic substructure effects in nucleon capture reactions [PDF]
Spectroscopic amplitudes play an important role in nuclear capture reactions. These amplitudes are shown to include both single-particle and polarization effects: the former through their spatial dependence and the latter through their normalization (the spectroscopic factors).

Mean amplitudes of vibration for cyclohexene from spectroscopic data
Monatshefte fr Chemie, 1974A normal coordinate analysis is performed for cyclohexene (C6H10). The calculated frequencies for C6H10 and C6D10 are reported. The mean amplitudes of vibration for all types of interatomic distances in these two molecules were also computed. Those of the bonded distances and nonbonded C−C distances in C6H10 are compared with the corresponding data ...

Determination of spectroscopic amplitudes from electron scattering data
Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1979It is shown how the spectroscopic amplitudes for the removal of a particle from anA-body system can be determined from electron-nucleus scattering data. The formalism used is translationally invariant and therefore the spectroscopic amplitudes thus determined require no further «center-of-mass corrections». The method is applied to the16O nucleus.

Alpha particle spectroscopic amplitudes in the j-j coupled shell model
Nuclear Physics A, 1974Abstract Formulae for calculating spectroscopic amplitudes for α-transfer reactions are developed in the framework of the j - j coupled harmonic oscillator shell model. It is shown that the amplitudes can be written as a sum of coupled two-neutron and two-proton spectroscopic amplitudes, illustrating that many properties of α-transfer reactions can

Determination of phase and amplitude of degree of coherence from spectroscopic measurements
Optics Communications, 2000In a recent study, James and Wolf [D.F.V. James, E. Wolf, Opt. Commun. 145 (1998) 1] have shown theoretically that if spectral measurements are made at several off-axes points in Young's interference experiment, the amplitude and the phase of the spectral degree of coherence can be determined.

Spectroscopic imaging by dephasing amplitude changing (SIDAC).
Radiation medicine, 1989A technique for spectroscopic imaging based on a new concept of dual encoding (i.e., both phase and frequency encoding) of position along the direction of the read-out gradient is proposed. The phase encoding is produced by changing the amplitude of the dephasing gradient as in conventional phase encoding.

Mean amplitudes of vibration for CH3SO2F and CH3SO2Cl from spectroscopic data
Journal of Molecular Structure, 1973Abstract A tentative assignment of vibrational frequencies for CH 3 SO 2 F and CH 3 SO 2 Cl is established. The available spectral data from literature were supplemented by new infrared measurements in the liquid phase. A normal coordinate analysis was performed on the basis of the assigned frequencies.
