Pulsational line profile variation of the roAp star HR 3831
We report the first comprehensive investigation of the line profile variation caused by non-radial pulsation in a magnetic oscillating chemically peculiar star. Spectrum variation of the well-known roAp star HR 3831 is detected using very high-resolution

Radial velocity variations of the pulsating subdwarf B star PG 1605+072 [PDF]
We present an analysis of high-speed spectroscopy of the pulsating subdwarf B star PG 1605+072. Periodic radial motions are detected at frequencies similar to those reported for photometric variations in the star, with amplitudes of up to 6 km/s ...

Asymptotic normalization coefficients for 8B->7Be+p from a study of 8Li->7Li+n [PDF]
Asymptotic normalization coefficients (ANCs) for 8Li->7Li+n have been extracted from the neutron transfer reaction 13C(7Li,8Li)12C at 63 MeV. These are related to the ANCs in 8B->7Be+p using charge symmetry.

Elastic and inelastic scattering of 11B ions by 14C at 45 MeV [PDF]
New experimental data for differential cross sections of 14С(11B, 11B)14С inelastic scattering at the energy Elab.(11В) = 45 MeV for transitions of 11B nucleus to the excited states of 2,12 - 8,56 MeV were obtained.

Multi-Cluster Allowed States and Spectroscopic Amplitude of Cluster Transfer [PDF]
A general construction procedure of the allowed states of the multi-cluster system is presented with the use of the concept of the "coefficient of fractional parentage". We explain in detail in the case of three-cluster system that the introduction of the Elliott SU3 group greatly simplifies the construction process, thereby making the practical ...

Asteroseismological study of massive ZZ Ceti stars with fully evolutionary models [PDF]
We present the first asteroseismological study for 42 massive ZZ Ceti stars based on a large set of fully evolutionary carbon$-$oxygen core DA white dwarf models characterized by a detailed and consistent chemical inner profile for the core and the ...

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

6Li(10B,9Be)7Be reaction mechanisms. Structure and interaction of 9Be + 7Be nuclei
New experimental data of angular distributions for the 6Li(10B,9Be)7Be reaction were measured at the energy Elab(10B) = 51 MeV for the ground states of nuclei and excited 0.429 - 7.2 MeV states of 7Be.

ABSTRACT We establish a quantitative relationship between photometric and spectroscopic detections of solar-like oscillations using ab initio, 3D, hydrodynamical numerical simulations of stellar atmospheres. We present a theoretical derivation as a proof of concept for our method. We perform realistic spectral line formation calculations
