EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Multiantenna spectrum sensing exploiting spectral a priori information
Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA) is receiving considerable interest as a means to improve spectral usage in licensed bands. In order to avoid interference to licensed users, spectrum sensing has emerged as an enabling technology for DSA.

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Singular spectrum analysis for effective feature extraction in hyperspectral imaging
As a very recent technique for time series analysis, Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) has been applied in many diverse areas, where an original 1D signal can be decomposed into a sum of components including varying trends, oscillations and noise ...

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Spectrum Sensing for Cognitive Radio.
This work focuses on the improvement of spectrum utilization by evaluating and proposing a subset of radio scene analysis algorithms for opportunistic spectrum access deployment in a cognitive radio network. The proposed algorithms aim to solve two problems: detecting vacant frequency channels and estimating the waveform, including modulation type ...

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

NEW MODEL USING DSA TECHNIQUES AND COASIAN BARGAINING AGREEMENTS FOR SPECTRUM MANAGEMENT IN KOSOVO [PDF]
In each country spectrum is scarce and expensive and as such it should treated carefully in terms of efficiency usage. The spectrum can be reallocated, reassigned and resold through agreements between the participants.

Spectral analysis of stratified sampling: a means to perform efficient multiband spectrum sensing
This paper introduces a multiband spectrum sensing technique that utilizes nonuniform stratified sampling. Capitalising on the ability of the sampling scheme to suppress aliasing, the proposed method accomplishes the sensing task using sampling rates ...

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...
