The Landscape of Long Non‐Coding RNAs Provides Insights Into the Domestication and Improvement of Pear Fruit

Advanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that long non‐coding RNAs represent important regulatory components underlying pear domestication and improvement. Integrative multi‐omics analyses identify selected lncRNAs associated with fruit traits, while functional validation uncovers a lignin‐related lncRNA, lncRNA‐pys, that promotes lignin accumulation.

Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is a common form of hair loss with limited treatment options. Silencing of WNT5A signaling, which is widely known as the trigger of the ncWNT signaling pathway, happens in hair follicle stem cells from balding areas. It leads to downregulation of ATF3 and its target FOSB.

Electronic Chip‐Mimetic Medical Implants for Controllable Sonothermal Treatments

Inspired by the thermal effect of working electronic chips, which consist of various heterostructures, an sonothermal‐responsive platform has been developed through constructing metal‐semiconductor interface on implants. Biofilm infection and deep vein thrombosis can be successfully treated by controllable ultrasound treatments.

WTAP Transcriptional Suppression by KLF9 Drives Osteoclastogenesis via M6A‐Mediated Regulation of CSF1R Signaling in Estrogen‐Deficient Osteoporosis

Scheme of the KLF9/WTAP/YTHDF2/m6A/CSF1R regulatory axis in osteoclastogenesis and estrogen‐deficient osteoporosis. WTAP‐mediated m6A modification of Csf1r mRNA governs osteoclastogenesis via a YTHDF2‐mediated pathway. Pathological upregulation of KLF9 drives Wtap transcription, leading to increased m6A deposition on the 3’‐UTR of Csf1r mRNA.
