As I have previously argued, apology is an expressive action through which we seek to mark adequately the significance of our own wrongdoing. Subseasonal Predictability of Weekly Rainfall and Rainy Season Onset Over East Africa

This study evaluates the subseasonal predictability of weekly rainfall and rainy season onset over East Africa using the ECMWF extended range forecast model. Results show strong skill in forecasting weekly rainfall up to 4 weeks ahead, with higher accuracy during the March–May ‘long rains’ season.

Climatology and Trends of Sub‐Daily Precipitation Extremes in Croatia

International Journal of Climatology, EarlyView.
Sub‐daily extreme precipitation indices reveal pronounced spatial variability, with the highest intensities and frequencies across the Adriatic region and the highlands. Seasonal and diurnal patterns highlight distinct regional behaviour, including summer maxima over the continental interior and nocturnal or early‐morning peaks along the Adriatic coast.
