This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

The multilinear spherical maximal function in one dimension
AbstractIn dimension n = 1, we obtain $L^{p_1}(\mathbb R) \times\dots\times L^{p_m}(\mathbb R)$ to $L^p(\mathbb R)$ boundedness for the multilinear spherical maximal function in the largest possible open set of indices and we provide counterexamples that indicate the optimality of our results.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

𝐿^{𝑝} bound on the strong spherical maximal function
In this note we show that the strong spherical maximal function in R d \mathbb R^d is bounded on L p L^p if p > 2 ( d + 1 ) / ( d − 1 ) p>2(d+

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Twisted bilinear spherical maximal functions
We obtain $L^p-$estimates for the full and lacunary maximal functions associated to the twisted bilinear spherical averages given by \[\mathfrak{A}_t(f_1,f_2)(x,y)=\int_{\mathbb S^{2d-1}}f_1(x+tz_1,y)f_2(x,y+tz_2)\;dσ(z_1,z_2),\;t>0,\] for all dimensions $d\geq1$.

Weighted estimates for fractional maximal functions related to spherical means [PDF]
We prove weighted Lp-Lq estimates for the maximal operators ℳα, given by , where μt denotes the normalised surface measure on the sphere of centre 0 and radius t in Rd. The techniques used involve interpolation and the Mellin transform. To do this, we also prove weighted Lp-Lq estimates for the operators of convolution with the kernels |·|−α−iη.

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.
