Pulse Programme Considerations for Quantitative NOE Analysis

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Chemistry, EarlyView.
NOESY and ROESY spectra are frequently used to obtain interatomic distances in solution. Here, the performance of six routinely used pulse programmes is evaluated, with the number of quantified correlations and the accuracy of the NOE‐based distances being used as the main assessment criteria. ABSTRACT Accurate NOE/ROE‐based distance determination is a

Rheological Characterization of a Low‐Concentration Water‐Based Collagen Dispersion Under Extensional, Shear, and Oscillatory Deformation

open access: yesPolymer Engineering &Science, EarlyView.
Combined capillary and oscillatory rheology provided complementary insights into the linear, nonlinear, and extensional flow behavior of a 3 wt% collagen dispersion, improving the understanding of its processing‐relevant rheological characteristics. ABSTRACT This study presents an investigation of the extensional, shear, and oscillatory rheological ...

Interplay Between Dispersion, Nucleation, and Crystallization in HDPE/Graphene Nanocomposites Processed Under Thermokinetic Conditions

open access: yesPolymer Engineering &Science, EarlyView.
Thermokinetic processing controls graphene fragmentation and dispersion in HDPE, promoting heterogeneous nucleation and multistep crystallization. The balance between nucleation enhancement and chain mobility restriction governs the final crystalline structure and material performance.

Longitudinal improvements in comfort, mobility, and quality of life with adjustable‐volume prosthetic sockets

open access: yesPM&R, EarlyView.
Abstract Background The prosthetic socket is central to the comfort, function, and satisfaction for lower‐limb prosthesis users. Traditional fixed‐geometry sockets offer limited adjustability and sometimes fail to accommodate daily changes in residual limb volume or shape, leading to poor load distribution, discomfort, skin issues, and reduced quality ...

Comparison of Calorimetry and NMR Relaxometry Measurements of Epoxy Cure Kinetics

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Single‐sided NMR monitors epoxy cure in three DGEBA/diamine systems, alongside benchmark DSC measurements. Fitting both datasets to a Kamal‐Malkin kinetic model shows NMR‐derived rate constants typically exceed DSC values, revealing an offset between gelation and chemical conversion.
