Aircraft testing in terms of methodology, safety and development of aircraft / Испытания самолета с точки зрения методологии, безопасности и развития авиационной техники / Ispitivanje aviona sa aspekta metodologije, bezbednosti i razvoja letelice

open access: yesVojnotehnički Glasnik, 2017
Aerospace as a whole, primarily aviation and planes, for a short time after 1903, greatly advance the frontiers of human activity. Initially, unsafe "flying device" the plane, has become a factor in loose resolving wars and one of the reliable means

Enantiopure Dinaphtho[2,3‐b:2,3‐f]thieno[3,2‐b]thiophenes: Reaching High Magnetoresistance Effect in OFETs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, 2023
Chiral molecules are known to behave as spin filters due to the chiral induced spin selectivity (CISS) effect. Chirality can be implemented in molecular semiconductors in order to study the role of the CISS effect in charge transport and to find new ...

Probing spin-charge separation using spin transport

open access: yes, 2000
Pedagogical discussions are given on what constitutes a signature of spin-charge separation. A proposal is outlined to probe spin-charge separation in the normal state of the high $T_c$ cuprates using spin transport.

Disordered but rhythmic—the role of intrinsic protein disorder in eukaryotic circadian timing

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Unstructured domains known as intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) are present in nearly every part of the eukaryotic core circadian oscillator. IDRs enable many diverse inter‐ and intramolecular interactions that support clock function. IDR conformations are highly tunable by post‐translational modifications and environmental conditions, which ...

When Perception Becomes Reality and Truth is Relative: Spin Strategies and Political Influence over Media Reporting in Macedonian Media

open access: yesMednarodno Inovativno Poslovanje, 2018
The power of politicians presenting itself in front of the public rests in the media, so politicians are likely to use the media to create the preferred media frames and to set the agenda (agenda setting). Worldwide, spin-doctors have their own influence

Spin-torque efficiency enhanced by Rashba spin splitting in three dimensions

open access: yes, 2012
We examine a spin torque induced by the Rashba spin-orbit coupling in three dimensions within the Boltzmann transport theory. We analytically calculate the spin torque and show how its behavior is related with the spin topology in the Fermi surfaces by ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Electronic Spin Transport in Dual-Gated Bilayer Graphene

open access: yes, 2016
The elimination of extrinsic sources of spin relaxation is key in realizing the exceptional intrinsic spin transport performance of graphene. Towards this, we study charge and spin transport in bilayer graphene-based spin valve devices fabricated in a ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Thermoelectric spin diffusion in a ferromagnetic metal

open access: yes, 2009
We present a semiclassical theory of spin-diffusion in a ferromagnetic metal subject to a temperature gradient. Spin-flip scattering can generate pure thermal spin currents by short-circuiting spin channels while suppressing spin accumulations.
