Spin Dynamics of Flavoproteins. [PDF]
This short review reports the surprising phenomenon of nuclear hyperpolarization occurring in chemical reactions, which is called CIDNP (chemically induced dynamic nuclear polarization) or photo-CIDNP if the chemical reaction is light-driven. The phenomenon occurs in both liquid and solid-state, and electron transfer systems, often carrying flavins as ...

Terahertz Spin Current Dynamics in Antiferromagnetic Hematite
An important vision of modern magnetic research is to use antiferromagnets (AFMs) as controllable and active ultrafast components in spintronic devices.

Derivatives of spin dynamics simulations [PDF]
We report analytical equations for the derivatives of spin dynamics simulations with respect to pulse sequence and spin system parameters. The methods described are significantly faster, more accurate, and more reliable than the finite difference approximations typically employed.

We experimentally demonstrated that heat-dissipation power driven by ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) in superparamagnetic nanoparticles of ferrimagnetic MFe2O4 (M = Fe, Mn, Ni) gives rise to highly localized incrementation of targeted temperatures.

Spin Anisotropy and Slow Dynamics in Spin Glasses [PDF]
We report on an extensive study of the influence of spin anisotropy on spin glass aging dynamics. New temperature cycle experiments allow us to compare quantitatively the memory effect in four Heisenberg spin glasses with various degrees of random anisotropy and one Ising spin glass.

Recursive evolution of spin-wave multiplets in magnonic crystals of antidot-lattice fractals
We explored spin-wave multiplets excited in a different type of magnonic crystal composed of ferromagnetic antidot-lattice fractals, by means of micromagnetic simulations with a periodic boundary condition.

Unconventional magnonic surface and interface states in layered ferromagnets
Magnons are the quantized spin waves, which describe the collective magnetic excitations and the long-range magnetic order in a solid. Here, the authors describe how to engineer magnonic band structures at the interface and surface of ferromagnetic ...

Optimizing machine learning models for granular NdFeB magnets by very fast simulated annealing
The macroscopic properties of permanent magnets and the resultant performance required for real implementations are determined by the magnets’ microscopic features. However, earlier micromagnetic simulations and experimental studies required relatively a
