Magnetoelasticity-driven phase inversion of ultrafast spin precession in NixFe100-x thin films

open access: yesJournal of Science: Advanced Materials and Devices, 2023
We present strong evidence for the deterministic role of magnetoelasticity in ultrafast spin dynamics of ferromagnetic NixFe100-x alloy films. Without a change in the crystal structure, we observed sudden π-phase inversion of the spin precession in the ...

Non-Markovian dynamics control of spin-1/2 system interacting with magnets

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2021
The unavoidable interaction of an open quantum system with its surrounding environment may follow non-Markovian dynamics behavior, which causes its memory effects to play a key role in many quantum technologies.

Reset-set latch logic operation using vortex-gyration-coupled modes and its driven switching in magnetic-dot networks: A micromagnetic simulation study

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2019
We explored, by micromagnetic simulations, a new-concept RS (reset-set) latch logic operation based on magnetic-dot networks comprised of physically separated but dipolar-coupled three disks in magnetic-vortex states. To devise this robust RS latch logic

The hardness of quantum spin dynamics

open access: yesCoRR, 2023
Recent experiments demonstrated quantum computational advantage in random circuit sampling and Gaussian boson sampling. However, it is unclear whether these experiments can lead to practical applications even after considerable research effort. On the other hand, simulating the quantum coherent dynamics of interacting spins has been considered as a ...

Anomalous coherent and dissipative coupling in dual photon-magnon hybrid resonators

open access: yesScientific Reports
We explored the distinctive behavior of coherent and dissipative photon-magnon coupling (PMC) in dual hybrid resonators, each incorporating an Inverted Split-Ring Resonator (ISRR) paired with a Yttrium Iron Garnet (YIG) film, positioned in close ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Reconfigurable control of coherence, dissipation, and nonreciprocity in cavity magnonics

open access: yesScientific Reports
Precise control of coupling strength, damping rate and nonreciprocity in photon–magnon systems is essential for advancing hybrid quantum technologies, including reconfigurable microwave components and quantum transducers.

Optical Orientation of Excitons in a Longitudinal Magnetic Field in Indirect-Band-Gap (In,Al)As/AlAs Quantum Dots with Type-I Band Alignment

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2023
Exciton recombination and spin dynamics in (In,Al)As/AlAs quantum dots (QDs) with indirect band gap and type-I band alignment were studied. The negligible (less than 0.2 μeV) value of the anisotropic exchange interaction in these QDs prevents the mixing ...

Hydrodynamics Formalism with Spin Dynamics [PDF]

open access: yesActa Physica Polonica B Proceedings Supplement, 2021
We review the key steps of the relativistic fluid dynamics formalism with spin degrees of freedom initiated recently. We obtain equations of motion of the expansion of the system from the underlying definitions of quantum kinetic theory for the equilibrium phase space distribution functions.
