Iso‐Tellurazole N‐Oxides Assemble Adaptively Folded Macrocyclic Dodecamers

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Te…O Chalcogen bonding links twelve molecules into a ring that wraps itself around molecular guests. ABSTRACT Self‐assembled macrocyclic dodecamers were found in the crystals of new pseudo‐polymorphs of iso‐tellurazole N‐oxides. These structures are formed by molecules connected by NTe…O chalcogen bonds and are folded in a pattern that defines 89–153 ...

Benchmarking of spin–orbit torque vs spin-transfer torque devices

Applied Physics Letters, 2022
We present a comprehensive benchmarking for spin-transfer torque (STT) and spin–orbit torque (SOT) based random-access memories. Based on experimentally validated micromagnetic simulations along with the use of rare event enhancement techniques, we show various tradeoffs among the write error rate, write time, and write current.

Spin-Transfer Torque

2021
In this chapter, we have introduced the concept and definition of Spin Transfer Torque. Furthermore, we have discussed the Spin Transfer Torque effect in layer structures, both for Single and Double ferromagnetic layers. We have also addressed interesting topics like Spin-Transfer-Torque-driven Magnetization Dynamics, both in the absence and presence ...

Amplification of Spin Waves by Thermal Spin-Transfer Torque

Physical Review Letters, 2011
We observe amplification of spin-wave packets propagating along a film of single-crystal yttrium iron garnet subject to a transverse temperature gradient. The spin waves are excited and detected with standard techniques used in magnetostatic microwave delay lines in the 1-2 GHz frequency range. The amplification is attributed to the action of a thermal

Spintronic Oscillators Based on Spin-Transfer Torque and Spin-Orbit Torque

2015
Spin-torque nano-oscillators (STNOs) are a possible new type of integrated device for applications such as microwave emission, frequency modulation, frequency mixing, and frequency detection. In order to reach telecommunication-application-required specifications, several issues must be tackled such as operating without a magnetic field and obtaining ...
