Magnetoelectric spin wave amplifier for spin wave logic circuits [PDF]
We propose and analyze a spin wave amplifier aimed to enhance the amplitude of the propagating spin wave via the magnetoelectric effect. The amplifier is a two-layer multiferroic structure, which comprises piezoelectric and ferromagnetic materials. By applying electric field to the piezoelectric layer, the stress is produced.

Introduction to Spin Wave Computing [PDF]
This paper provides a tutorial overview over recent vigorous efforts to develop computing systems based on spin waves instead of charges and voltages. Spin-wave computing can be considered as a subfield of spintronics, which uses magnetic excitations for computation and memory applications.

Engineering structured magnetic bits for magnonic holographic memory
Magnonic holographic memory is a type of memory that uses spin waves for magnetic bit read-in and read-out. Its operation is based on the interaction between magnets and propagating spin waves where the phase and the amplitude of the spin wave are ...

Polarization singularities in isotropic random vector waves [PDF]
Following Nye & Hajnal, we explore the geometry of complex vector waves by regarding them as a field of polarization ellipses. Singularities of this field are the C lines and L lines, where the polarization is purely circular and purely linear ...

Boundary Reflections of Rolling Waves in Cubic Anisotropic Material
Rolling waves have unconventional circular polarizations enabled by the equal-speed propagation of longitudinal and transverse waves in elastic solids. They can transport non-paraxial intrinsic (i.e. spin) mechanical angular momentum in the media.
