Spinal Cord Malformation Containing a Papillary Neoplasm

A 36‐year‐old man had lower back pain for over one year. MRI revealed an intradural mass with a cystic component, inferior to the spinal cord at L2‐L3, with no bony abnormality of the spine. At surgery, the mass was entirely intradural, inferior to the spinal cord and intimately attached to nerve roots of the cauda equina.

This study highlights that radioimmunotherapy drives crosstalk between fibroblasts and immune cells (especially macrophages) in the cardiac microenvironment, with IL‐6 as the key mediator, and tocilizumab alleviates cardiac fibrosis by targeting this interplay.
