Instability of Ultra-Spinning Black Holes [PDF]
It has long been known that, in higher-dimensional general relativity, there are black hole solutions with an arbitrarily large angular momentum for a fixed mass.

Phase Structure of Non-Commutative Field Theories and Spinning Brane Bound States [PDF]
General spinning brane bound states are constructed, along with their near-horizon limits which are relevant as dual descriptions of non-commutative field theories.

Searching for late neolithic spinning bowls in the central Balkans [PDF]
Over the past twenty years, research on textile has received increasing attention in archaeology worldwide, providing new insights into one of the most important crafts in human history. In contrast, activities related to spinning and weaving in

Ray trajectories for a spinning cosmic string and a manifestation of self-cloaking
A study of ray trajectories was undertaken for the Tamm medium which represents the spacetime of a cosmic spinning string, under the geometric-optics approximation. Our numerical studies revealed that: (i) rays never cross the string's boundary; (ii) the

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
