Electrically small split ring resonator antennas [PDF]
Cataloged from PDF version of article. We studied electrically small resonant antennas composed of split ring resonators (SRR) and monopoles. The antennas considered have the same ring radius, but slightly different geometry.

Metamaterial inspired enhanced far-field transmission through a subwavelength nano-hole [PDF]
In the present study, we first demonstrate the polarization and orientation dependent transmission response of split ring resonators at the infrared and visible band.

Wireless transfer of power by a 35-GHz metamaterial split-ring resonator rectenna [PDF]
Wireless transfer of power via high frequency microwave radiation using a miniature split ring resonator rectenna is reported. RF power is converted into DC power by integrating a rectification circuit with the split ring resonator.

ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Controlling split-ring resonators with light [PDF]
We propose an original approach for creating tunable electromagnetic metamaterials. We demonstrate experimentally that magnetic resonance of a split-ring resonator (“meta-atom” of a composite material) with a photodiode operated in photovoltaic mode can be tuned by changing the intensity of an external light source. Moreover, for two coupled resonators,

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

The Role of Asymmetry on the Resonances of Conjoined Split-Ring Resonators
The conjoined split-ring resonator (Co-SRR) is proposed as the unit cell to construct terahertz (THz) metamaterial. The size and position of the gaps on both sides of the structure were adjusted, and the impact on the electromagnetic response to the incident THz wave was investigated via simulation.
