Spectral splittings in the Conley index theory [PDF]
There are several tools used in the analysis of the structure of Morse decompositions of invariant sets in the Conley theory, like connection matrices, connection graphs and spectral sequences. The main goal of the paper is to discuss basic relations between connection matrices, connection graphs and spectral sequences on the algebraic level.

Corn grain moisture (CGM) is critical to estimate grain maturity status and schedule harvest. Traditional methods for determining CGM range from manual scouting, destructive laboratory analyses, and weather-based dry down estimates.

Dynamically reconfigurable directionality of plasmon-based single photon sources [PDF]
We propose a plasmon-based reconfigurable antenna to controllably distribute emission from single quantum emitters in spatially separated channels. Our calculations show that crossed particle arrays can split the stream of photons from a single emitter ...

Standardization of the Persian Version of the Academic Commitment Scale [PDF]
Background Academic commitment as a new specialized issue has attracted the attention of educational researchers. Despite of the conducting relevant studies, it was more considered by Human-Vogel and Rabe.

We have investigated graphene-based three various refractive index sensors (split ring resonator (SRR), split ring resonator with thin wire (SRRTW), and thin wire (TW) refractive index sensors) for the encoding and sensing-based applications. The sensors

Metamaterials--artificially structured materials with tailored electromagnetic response--can be designed to have properties difficult to achieve with existing materials. Here we present a structured metamaterial, based on conducting split ring resonators

Time split linear quadtree for indexing image databases [PDF]
The time split B-tree (TSBT) is modified for indexing a database of evolving binary images. This is accomplished by embedding ideas from linear region quadtrees that make the TSBT able to support spatio-temporal query processing. To improve query performance, additional pointers are added to the leaf-nodes of the TSBT.

A complementary split-ring resonator (CSRR) based metamaterial is designed and investigated in this paper for microwave applications with effective medium ratio. This CSRR is the modification of the conventional split-ring resonator.

Discontinuous design of negative index metamaterials based on mode hybridization
An electric inductor-capacitor (ELC) resonator provides a series of electrical resonances and a pair of ELC resonators leads to the split of each resonance into two modes, i.e., magnetic and electric modes, corresponding to antisymmetric and symmetric ...
