Time-Reversal Symmetry in Non-Hermitian Systems
For ordinary hermitian Hamiltonians, the states show the Kramers degeneracy when the system has a half-odd-integer spin and the time reversal operator obeys \Theta^2=-1, but no such a degeneracy exists when \Theta^2=+1.

This paper aims to present, in a unified manner, algebraic techniques for linear equations which are valid on both the algebras of quaternions and split quaternions. This paper, introduces a concept of v-quaternion, studies the problem of v-quaternionic linear equations by means of a complex representation and a real representation of v-quaternion ...

On split products of quaternion algebras with involution in characteristic two [PDF]
The question of whether a split tensor product of quaternion algebras with involution over a field of characteristic two can be expressed as a tensor product of split quaternion algebras with involution, is shown to have an affirmative ...

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Solution to Several Split Quaternion Matrix Equations
Split quaternions have various applications in mathematics, computer graphics, robotics, physics, and so on. In this paper, two useful, real representations of a split quaternion matrix are proposed. Based on this, we derive their fundamental properties.

A Clifford algebra associated to generalized Fibonacci quaternions
In this paper we find a Clifford algebra associated to generalized Fibonacci quaternions. In this way, we provide a nice algorithm to obtain a division quaternion algebra starting from a quaternion non-division algebra and vice ...

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Counting problems for geodesics on arithmetic hyperbolic surfaces
It is a longstanding problem to determine the precise relationship between the geodesic length spectrum of a hyperbolic manifold and its commensurability class.

Split (s, t)−Lucas Quaternions
In this paper, we introduce a new class of split (s,t)- Lucas quaternions that generalizes the split Lucas quaternions. Additionally, we derive Binet-like formulas, generating functions, binomial sums and Honsberger-like, d'Ocagne-like, Catalan's-like and Cassini's-like identities.
