Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

SPR-MS in functional proteomics [PDF]
The mapping of protein networks and the establishment of the functional relationships between expressed proteins and their effects on cellular processes represents a great challenge for functional or interaction proteomics. The combination of surface plasmon resonance (SPR)-based technology with mass spectrometry (MS) has created a unique analytical ...

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Surface plasmon resonance based measurement of the dielectric function of a thin metal film [PDF]
A spectral method based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) in air is used to measure the dielectric function of a thin metal film. The method utilizes the spectral dependence of the ratio of the reflectances of p- and s-polarized waves measured in the ...

Unraveling the Molecular Mechanisms Underlying Spontaneous Multipolar Mitosis Through CIN‐seq
Multipolar mitosis, a hallmark of chromosomal instability (CIN), drives tumor heterogeneity but is challenging to study in live cells. Using CIN‐seq, a single‐cell multiomics method, we profiled rare CIN events and identified mechanisms associated with viable multipolar mitosis, including PTEN attenuation, Rho GTPase‐driven cytokinesis failure, and ...

Biophysical assay for tethered signaling reactions reveals tether-controlled activity for the phosphatase SHP-1 [PDF]
Tethered enzymatic reactions are ubiquitous in signaling networks but are poorly understood. A previously unreported mathematical analysis is established for tethered signaling reactions in surface plasmon resonance (SPR).

Halofuginone is a Molecular Glue Degrader of Integrin β4
Integrin β4 overexpression is linked to aggressive tumors and poor prognosis, but targeted therapies are lacking. We identified halofuginone (HF) as a molecular glue degrader that promotes integrin β4 degradation via the CRL4BWDR18 E3 ligase. HF suppresses tumor progression in vitro and in vivo, offering a new strategy for targeting oncogenic ...
