Effect of sintering temperature on adhesion of spray-on piezoelectric transducers [PDF]
Conventionally sol-gel spray-on transducers require a high-temperature (> 700 °C) sintering process; however, this process can affect the microstructure of the substrate material.

Adsorption‐Engineered Hydrocarbon Ionomers for Durable Proton‐Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells
Hydrocarbon ionomers suffer from oxidation‐driven interfacial degradation in PEM fuel cell cathodes, leading to catalyst instability. Here, adsorption‐engineered poly(fluorene) ionomers decouple interfacial anchoring from oxidative degradation, enabling strong catalyst–ionomer interactions while resisting electrochemical oxidation.

Highly porous thin films obtained by spray-gel technique [PDF]
Combining the spray pyrolysis and the sol-gel techniques (spray-gel) gives the possibility to produce very rough and highly diffuse films. This technique is suitable for producing multifunctional metal oxides for gas-sensing, electrochromism, microbattery, and photocatalysis applications; due to the fact that it yields a large interface between a solid

Skin‐Like Tri‐Modal Sensors Based on Soft Piezoelectric and Ionic Composites
Inspired by the multimodal perception of human skin, a soft, skin‐like tri‐modal sensor is presented. The device incorporates an ionically conductive, piezoelectric, elastic composite as its active layer, enabling independent detection of temperature, static strain, and dynamic strain within a single two‐terminal architecture.
