Ariel’s Medial Grooves: Spreading Centers on a Candidate Ocean World
We present evidence that Ariel's massive chasma-medial groove systems formed via spreading, where internally sourced material ascended and formed new crust.

The seismic structure of crust formed in back-arc spreading centers
16TH SEISMIX International Symposium on Multi-scale Seismic Imaging of the Earth's crust and Upper Mantle, 12-17 October 2014, Castelldefels, Barcelona.-- 1 pageAbout 3/4 of the Earth crust and most past subducted crust have been formed at oceanic ...

Weakening the nuclear envelope: Lamin B receptor in melanoma metastasis
LBR‐driven nuclear fragility supports melanoma invasion. A: Melanocyte presents low LBR (Lamin B Receptor) levels, maintaining nuclear integrity and lamina‐chromatin tethering. B: During malignant progression, upregulation of LBR clusters at the INM (Inner Nuclear Membrane) during confined migration causes local lamina weakening and cholesterol ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Spreading of Infection on Temporal Networks: An Edge-Centered Perspective
We discuss a continuous-time extension of the contact-based (CB) model, as proposed in [Koher et al. Phys. Rev. X 9, 031017 (2019)], for infections with permanent immunity on temporal networks. At the core of our methodology is a fundamental change to an edge-centered perspective, which allows for an accurate model on temporal networks, where the ...

This dissertation uses a finite element technique to explore the role of viscoelastic behavior in a wide range of plate tectonic processes. We consider problems associated with spreading centers, earthquake triggering, and subduction zone dynamics.

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...
