Enhancing Chiroptical Selectivity and Device Stability of Chiral Perovskite Photodetectors Via Interfacial AlF3 Passivation

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
An ALD‐grown AlF3 underlayer promotes grain growth, defect passivation, and improved crystalline ordering in chiral perovskite films. The resulting films exhibit enhanced chiroptical properties, superior circularly polarized light photodetector performance, and improved stability, establishing an inorganic interface‐engineering strategy broadly ...

Environmental Mycotoxins and Brain Health: Protective Role of Bromelain Against Fumonisin B1 in SH‐SY5Y Cells

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Fumonisin B1 (FB1), a mycotoxin commonly found in contaminated food and feed, has been increasingly implicated in neurotoxicity, although its mechanisms remain poorly understood. This study investigates the neurotoxic potential of FB1 in human SH‐SY5Y neuroblastoma cells, both undifferentiated and RA‐differentiated, and evaluates the ...

Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.

Nanomedicine applications in lymphoma: Advancing precision diagnostics, targeted therapeutics, and prospective developments

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Lymphoma is a group of blood cancers that can appear in lymph nodes, blood, bone marrow, spleen, liver, or the central nervous system, which makes drug delivery and disease monitoring difficult. This review summarizes how nanomedicine technologies may improve targeted treatment and imaging, while carefully separating approved or guideline‐supported ...
