Twisted MoS2 Bilayers as Functional Elements in Memtransistors: Hysteresis, Optical Signatures, and Photocurrent Kinetics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Layered 2D materials are considered as promising for memristive applications due to their ultimate vertical scalability compared to conventional semiconductor films and pronounced hysteresis properties. Bias‐resolved Raman and Photoluminescence mapping is used to quantify strain from phonon shifts and carrier density from the exciton‐trion ...

RELIABILITY ASSESSMENT OF BALLISTIC JUMP SQUATS AND BENCH THROWS

open access: yesJournal of Strength and Conditioning Research, 2005
The purpose of this investigation was to determine the test-retest reliability and coefficient of variation of 2 novel physical performance tests. Ten healthy men (22.0 +/- 3.0 years, 87.0 +/- 8.0 kg, 20.0 +/- 5.0% body fat) performed 30 continuous and dynamic jump squats (JS) and bench throws (BT) on 4 separate occasions.

Self‐Adhesive Conductive Elastomers for Gel‐Free Biopotential Recording

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
σPOMaC, a self‐adhesive conductive citrate elastomer incorporating PEDOT:PSS and DBSA, enables gel‐free biopotential electrodes with stable conductivity and intrinsic skin adhesion. The composite exhibits low resistivity (∼ 0.02 Ω·cm), robust electrical performance during repeated use, and reliable on‐body ECG acquisition comparable to Ag/AgCl ...

Keeping Pace or Falling Behind? The Depth of Latin American Trade Agreements

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article examines whether Latin American countries are keeping pace with global trends in trade agreement depth or falling behind. Using 681 agreements (1970–2019), we develop the Depth Index of Trade Agreements (DITA) to weight provisions endogenously through factor analysis based on co‐occurrence patterns.

Guidelines for Detecting the Foodborne Antibiotic‐Resistant Bacteria

open access: yesAgriFood: Journal of Agricultural Products for Food, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Foodborne antibiotic‐resistant bacteria threaten global public health and the economic. Standardized detection methods are crucial for effective prevention and control. Researchers encounter difficulties in choosing suitable techniques due to the variety of available approaches and the intricate nature of resistance mechanisms.

Do small samples bias the correlation between strength and jump performance? Multivariate insights into age and sex amidst strength saturation: an analysis of 1,544 participants from different sports

open access: yesBiology of Sport
Maximal strength is considered a fundamental aspect of athletic performance across a wide range of sports and is also needed for a range of activities of daily life. Yet, compared to males there are fewer publications examining females, with most showing

Pylorus‐Preserving Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer: Current Evidence and Future Directions

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
This review aims to outline the current evidence and future directions of PPG, focusing on the feasibility of extending its application beyond its traditional indications. ABSTRACT Pylorus‐preserving gastrectomy (PPG) is a function‐preserving surgery for clinically T1N0M0 (cT1N0M0) early gastric cancer (EGC) located in the middle third of the stomach ...

Challenges and enablers in fluidization technology

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Gas–solid fluidized beds provide excellent heat and mass transfer for high‐throughput operations from coating to catalytic conversion and underpin emerging low‐carbon technologies. Yet industrial reliability, scale‐up, and control lag scientific understanding, particularly as finer, stickier, and more variable feedstocks increasingly challenge
