Squeezed Coherent States of Geometric Beams

ACS Photonics
Quantum-classical analogy refers to the fact that quantum and classical phenomena share a similar mathematical description and exhibit analogous behaviors, which has advanced optical frontiers. In this work, the mechanism of the squeezed state is incorporated into classical structured light, constructing a novel kind of structured light, termed the ...

Two-mode Squeezed Pair Coherent States

Journal of Modern Optics, 1995
Abstract The properties of states generated by the application of the two-mode squeeze operator to the pair coherent states are studied. These states are the two-mode analogues of the single-mode squeezed states generated by the application of the single-mode squeeze operator to an ordinary coherent state.

Gaussian coherent state expansion of the squeezed states

Optics Communications, 1990
Abstract It is shown that gaussian coherent state expansions describe squeezed states. The non-analytic gaussian expansion allows to reduce the dimensionality of the representation. Using this very convenient representation we calculated the quantities 〈 a † j a k 〉, which immediately give the mean value of any normally ordered operator ...

On the Coherent States and the Squeezed States

Chinese Physics Letters, 1995
In this paper the coherent and the squeezed state of the bose field is written as a universal form by means of a projector which transforms the old vacuum state to the new vacuum state. The transformed vacuum state is the coherent state or the squeed state. Our result is equivalent to the original definitions.

Eigenvalue equation of squeezed coherent states and time evolution of squeezed states

Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 2002
Summary: We define the eigenvalue equation of the squeezed coherent state using recently introduced inverse annihilation and creation operators. The salient feature of the eigenvalue equation of the squeezed coherent state is that it consistently yields the eigenvalue equation of the squeezed vacuum when the coherent amplitude is reduced to zero.

Generation of amplitude squeezed states of light from phase squeezed coherent states

Journal of Modern Optics, 1996
Abstract We propose a scheme to generate a displaced macroscopic superposition of phase squeezed coherent states by incorporating an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) and a nonlinear Kerr medium in a Mach-Zhender interferometer configuration. We show that the phase squeezed coherent state generated by the OPO evolves into a macroscopic superposition ...

Complex measure, coherent state and squeezed state representation

Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1998
Summary: Coherent states are studied within the framework of complex measurable processes. It is shown that squeezed states can be accommodated within this framework and all the relevant results relating to squeezed states are derived. A generalization to complex coordinates is also provided and it is shown to lead to the Wigner distribution in a ...
