Quantum squeezing amplification with a weak Kerr nonlinear oscillator [PDF]
Quantum squeezed states, with biased quantum noise, have been widely utilized in quantum sensing and quantum error correction applications. However, generating and manipulating these nonclassical states with a large squeezing degree typically requires ...

Implementation of Photonic Phase Gate and Squeezed States via a Two-Level Atom and Bimodal Cavity
We propose a theoretical model for realizing a photonic two-qubit phase gate in cavity QED using a one-step process. The fidelity and probability of success of the conditional quantum phase gate is very high in the presence of cavity decay.

Helstrom Bound for Squeezed Coherent States in Binary Communication
In quantum information processing, using a receiver device to differentiate between two non-orthogonal states leads to a quantum error probability. The minimum possible error is known as the Helstrom bound. In this work, we study the conditions for state

Transactional Interpretation and the Generalized Poisson Distribution
The aim of this paper is to study the quantum-like approach to the description of the market in the context of the principle of minimum Fisher information. We wish to investigate the validity of using squeezed coherent states as market strategies.

The basic concept of squeezed spin states is established and the principles for their generation are discussed. Two proposed mechanisms, referred to as one-axis twisting and two-axis countertwisting, are shown to reduce the standard quantum noise S/2 of the coherent S-spin state down to 1/2(S/3${)}^{1/3}$ and 1/2, respectively.

Two-axis two-spin squeezed states
The states generated by the two-spin generalization of the two-axis countertwisting Hamiltonian are examined. We analyze the behavior at both short and long timescales, by calculating various quantities such as squeezing, spin expectation values ...
