Quantum squeezing amplification with a weak Kerr nonlinear oscillator [PDF]

open access: yesNature Communications
Quantum squeezed states, with biased quantum noise, have been widely utilized in quantum sensing and quantum error correction applications. However, generating and manipulating these nonclassical states with a large squeezing degree typically requires ...

Structured light analogy of quantum squeezed states [PDF]

open access: yesLight: Science & Applications
Quantum optics has advanced our understanding of the nature of light and enabled applications far beyond what is possible with classical light. The unique capabilities of quantum light have inspired the migration of some conceptual ideas to the realm of ...

Properties of transient spectrum and field purity for a qubit system in squeezed states

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2021
The present study investigates the transient spectrum (TS) of a two-level system that interacts with a generalized squeezed state without using the rotating wave approximation (RWA).

Implementation of Photonic Phase Gate and Squeezed States via a Two-Level Atom and Bimodal Cavity

open access: yesPhotonics, 2022
We propose a theoretical model for realizing a photonic two-qubit phase gate in cavity QED using a one-step process. The fidelity and probability of success of the conditional quantum phase gate is very high in the presence of cavity decay.

Helstrom Bound for Squeezed Coherent States in Binary Communication

open access: yesEntropy, 2022
In quantum information processing, using a receiver device to differentiate between two non-orthogonal states leads to a quantum error probability. The minimum possible error is known as the Helstrom bound. In this work, we study the conditions for state

Transactional Interpretation and the Generalized Poisson Distribution

open access: yesEntropy, 2022
The aim of this paper is to study the quantum-like approach to the description of the market in the context of the principle of minimum Fisher information. We wish to investigate the validity of using squeezed coherent states as market strategies.

Squeezed spin states [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 1993
The basic concept of squeezed spin states is established and the principles for their generation are discussed. Two proposed mechanisms, referred to as one-axis twisting and two-axis countertwisting, are shown to reduce the standard quantum noise S/2 of the coherent S-spin state down to 1/2(S/3${)}^{1/3}$ and 1/2, respectively.

Two-axis two-spin squeezed states

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
The states generated by the two-spin generalization of the two-axis countertwisting Hamiltonian are examined. We analyze the behavior at both short and long timescales, by calculating various quantities such as squeezing, spin expectation values ...
