1993These two cases are examples of crossed renal ectopia that have been previously described (Chalifoux 1986). The left, ectopic, kidney of the squirrel monkey was located just caudal to the bifurcation of the aorta between the common iliac arteries and to the right of the midline of the body (Fig. 163).
