Crack Initiation and Growth Analysis by Direct Optical Observation during SSRT in High Temperature Water

open access: yes, 1984
The stress corrosion cracking behavior during the slow strain rate test (SSRT) has been investigated in high temperature water. SSRTs were performed on center-notched thin plate specimens of sensitized Type 304 stainless steel.

Study on Corrosion Behavior of Ferritic Stainless Steels by Potentiostatic SSRT Method.

open access: yesJournal of the Society of Materials Science, Japan, 1992
The stress corrosion cracking or hydrogen embrittlement is defined as the localized fracture phenomenon caused by the interaction between applied stress and electrochemical process. Recently, a number of studies incorporating the electrochemical method and the slow strain rate technique (SSRT) have been carried out in various corrosive environments as ...

Effects of Transcranial Pulse Stimulation of the Primary Motor Cortex on Motor Performance in Healthy Adults: A Randomized Crossover Pilot Study

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 31, Issue 12, December 2025.
A single session of transcranial pulse stimulation (TPS) at the right primary motor cortex (rM1) does not improve hand dexterity compared to vertex stimulation. A similar practice effect was observed for both stimulations from 10 to 40 min post‐stimulation.

Corrosion Behavior of Pure Titanium by MIM Process under SSRT Condition

open access: yesJournal of the Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy, 2007
There exist difficulties in preparing pure titanium or titanium alloys by the ingot metallurgy (I/M) because of their poor machinability. Recently, powder metallurgy (P/M) has been applied to produce the titanium products since it has the advantage of better formability.

The association between attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder and narrative language: What is the role of executive function?

open access: yesJCPP Advances, Volume 5, Issue 4, December 2025.
Abstract Background Research suggests that Attention‐Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) may be associated with narrative language (or storytelling) difficulties, and executive functioning is hypothesized to underlie this association. However, the contribution of executive function to the narrative language production of children with ADHD is unclear

TF‐MEET: A Transferable Fusion Multi‐Band Transformer for Cross‐Session EEG Decoding

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, Volume 10, Issue 6, Page 1799-1812, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Electroencephalography (EEG) is a widely used neuroimaging technique for decoding brain states. Transformer is gaining attention in EEG signal decoding due to its powerful ability to capture global features. However, relying solely on a single feature extracted by the traditional transformer model to address the domain shift problem caused by ...

Neonatal Surgency Moderates the Association Between the Home Environment and Executive Functions in Children With a Family History of ADHD

open access: yesInfant and Child Development, Volume 34, Issue 6, November/December 2025.
ABSTRACT Contemporary perspectives suggest that some children are more sensitive to their caregiving environment than others. This prospective longitudinal study examined the role of environmental sensitivity in the developmental pathways of attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), focusing on its early identification during the neonatal period.

Effect of Microstructural Constituents on Hydrogen Embrittlement Resistance of API X60, X70, and X80 Pipeline Steels [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Metallurgy and Materials
This study describes how microstructural constituents affected the hydrogen embrittlement resistance of high-strength pipeline steels. The American Petroleum Institute (API) X60, X70, and X80 pipeline steels demonstrated complicated microstructure ...

Neurobiology and Cognition in Girls at High‐Risk of Eating Disorders: Exploring Imaging‐Derived Trait Markers

open access: yesEuropean Eating Disorders Review, Volume 33, Issue 5, Page 1032-1043, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Eating disorders (EDs) are serious psychiatric disorders characterized by impairments in neurocognition and altered brain structure. To date the majority of studies have investigated these in acutely ill or recovered individuals.

Reliability of triggering inhibitory process is a better predictor of impulsivity than SSRT

open access: yes, 2019
The ability to control behaviour is thought to rely on adequately suppressing impulsive responses to external stimuli. However, the evidence for this relationship between response inhibition ability and impulse control is weak and inconsistent.
