Unknown system dynamics estimator based control for sub‐synchronous oscillation of direct‐drive wind farms

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications
Aiming at the problem of sub‐synchronous oscillations induced by direct‐drive wind farms with series‐compensated lines, this paper proposes an unknown system dynamics estimation‐based PI controller to achieve sub‐synchronous oscillation suppression ...

Study on the Attenuation Characteristics of Seismic Wave Energy Induced by Underwater Drilling and Blasting

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2019
Seismic wave induced by underwater drilling and blasting may exert adverse effects to the surrounding structures. Peak particle velocity (PPV) has been widely used to reflect the intensity of seismic wave, while the method fails to take other influential

Three phosphatase families form a community: The phosphohydrolases that act upon inositol pyrophosphates

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

On robust stability of fully probabilistic control with respect to data-driven model uncertainties

open access: yes, 2019
We investigate robust stability of the fully probabilistic control with respect to data-driven model uncertainties. This scheme attempts to control a system modeled via a probability density function (pdf) and does so by computing a probabilistic control

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

Dynamic characteristics of coal gangue subgrade filler under traffic load based on the hysteretic curves

open access: yesScientific Reports
Traffic cyclic loading is the key factor that leads to the deterioration of the long-term service behavior of subgrade. A series of cyclic triaxial tests was carried out by the large-scale dynamic and static triaxial apparatus (LSDSTA) to study the ...

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

On the stability and control of discrete linear systems with clock synchronization errors

open access: yes, 2011
This paper considers discrete linear time-invariant systems that can be decomposed into subsystems whose states are synchronized by a common clock whose signal reaches them with delays.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Stability analysis and stabilization of wireless networked control systems based on deadband control scheduling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The stability analysis and stabilization problems of the wireless networked control systems (WNCSs) with signal transmission deadbands were considered. The deadbands were respectively set up at the sensor to the controller and the controller to the actor
