In this paper, a fully-discrete alternating direction implicit (ADI) difference method is proposed for solving three-dimensional (3D) fractional subdiffusion equations with variable coefficients, whose solution presents a weak singularity at $ t = 0 ...

Implicit Attitude Measures: Consistency, Stability, and Convergent Validity [PDF]
In recent years, several techniques have been developed to measure implicit social cognition. Despite their increased use, little attention has been devoted to their reliability and validity. This article undertakes a direct assessment of the interitem consistency, stability, and convergent validity of some implicit attitude measures. Attitudes toward

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

An efficient explicit group method for time fractional Burgers equation
Fractional Burgers-type equations are essential mathematical models for describing the cumulative effect of wall friction through the boundary layer, along with the unidirectional propagation of weakly nonlinear acoustic waves. It is a major challenge to

On Convergence Lemma and Convergence Stability for Piecewise Analytic Functions
In this work, a convergence lemma for function $f$ being finite compositions of analytic mappings and the maximum operator is proved. The lemma shows that the set of $δ$-stationary points near an isolated local minimum point $x^*$ is shrinking to $x^*$ as $δ\to 0$. It is a natural extension of the version for strongly convex $C^1$ functions.

This research protocol outlines a workflow for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)‐based metabolomics in the agri‐food sector. Using two case studies—strawberry leaves (solid matrix) and wine (liquid matrix)—it details the procedures for sample preparation, data acquisition, and processing.

Numerical approximations of difference functional equations and applications [PDF]
We give a theorem on the error estimate of approximate solutions for difference functional equations of the Volterra type. We apply this general result in the investigation of the stability of difference schemes generated by nonlinear first order partial

Numerical analysis of parabolic p-Laplacian: Approximation of trajectories [PDF]
The long time numerical approximation of the parabolic p-Laplacian problem with a time-independent forcing term and sufficiently smooth initial data is studied.

The Relationship Between Inflammation and Central Nervous System in Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Aim Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune demyelination disease that is seen especially in the young population and has a progressive course, causing motor, sensory, and cognitive deficits. In the literature, the pathogenesis of MS disease and the interconnection between the immune and central nervous system in the disease have not been fully ...
