Estimates of Exponential Stability for Solutions of Stochastic Control Systems with Delay

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2011
A nonlinear stochastic differential-difference control system with delay of neutral type is considered. Sufficient conditions for the exponential stability are derived by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals of quadratic form with exponential factors ...

Stability estimates for semigroups on Banach spaces

open access: yesDiscrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems, 2013
The authors discuss various equivalent forms of a theorem due to Datko, stating that a strongly continuous semigroup of bounded linear operators \((T(t))_{t\geq 0}\) in a Banach space \(X\) is exponentially stable if and only if the convolution operator mapping a function \(f \) to \(\int^\infty _0 T(t-s)f(s)\,ds\) is a bounded operator in \(L^p(X ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

On stability of nonlinear difference equations and some of their applications

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы
The issues of stability in solving nonlinear difference equations were considered. Based on a generalized difference analog of the well-known Bihari lemma, stability conditions for a trivial solution based on initial data were obtained, and an a priori ...

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Estimating Pass-Through: Structure and Stability [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Finance Discussion Papers, 1990
This paper estimates the pass-through relationship between exchange rates and import prices for the United States using recursive techniques across a variety of specifications to examine structural and coefficient stability in a systematic fashion.

Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

Solution Estimates for Semilinear Difference-Delay Equations with Continuous Time

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2007
We consider semilinear difference-delay equations with continuous time in a Euclidean space. Estimates are found for the solutions. Such estimates are then applied to obtain the stability and boundedness criteria for solutions.
